Scriptural Outline

Praise

Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.

When we enter the presence of the Almighty it is good to prepare our hearts with a posture of praise.  (this is also an acceptable way to approach every human conversation as well) 

Pardon

Psalm 66:18 If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

Sin is what separates us from God.  It is also what cause us to draw back and holdback from him.  After Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they hid from God. (Genesis 3:8 8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.)  Early on in prayer confess your sins to him and receive His forgiveness that you may continue boldly in seeking him without shame holding you back from receiving and experiencing His grace.

Pledge

Psalm 37:4-5 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this:

Remember and reassure that our ultimate goal to is follow and serve God, looking to His interests and trusting that His plans will bring blessing to our lives as well.

Perception

1 Thessalonians 5:18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

The position form which we view our circumstance will determine what we see. If we start from a focus on what we lack we will never be satisfied, but if we begin with gratitude wee will appreciate each additional blessing all the more!

Provision

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

There is a peace and a trust that comes when we see God as our provider, but a stress that burdens us when we feel as though we are required to meet all of our own needs. Put yourself in the right mindset to give thanks for His goodness, and to work diligently as unto Him.

Power

Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,

We are called to be witnesses of His glory, Ambassadors of His Kingdom, Lights unto the World and Overcomers in every situation.  But these blessings are only realized to the extent that we rely on His Power in us rather than our own limited strength.

People

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

The only things in this world that will endure throughout all eternity is the souls of the people.  Therefore, our relationships are the most important investments we can make. The key is to see the God given value of each person you interact with.

Protection

Psalm 121:7 The LORD will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life;

A trust in God’s protection enables us to live life courageously.

Outline Script

Praise

Good morning Daddy, Jesus & Holy Spirit. I enter your presence with praise of your holiness and worship of your wonder. Because I am created in your likeness, redeemed by your sacrifice and filled with your Spirit, I have this privilege of coming boldly before your throne of grace.

Pardon

I confess to you my sins and shortcomings. I have fallen short of the glory you created me for and have not loved you, my fellow man, or myself as deeply and as purely as I should. As I acknowledge these things to you, I gratefully receive your forgiveness. I thank you for your gift of conviction that comes without condemnation, and I embrace a heart of repentance as you fill me with passion to pursue your righteousness. 

Pledge

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for another day. Help me to rejoice and be glad in it knowing that this day was written and ordained for me by you. Let me walk in step with you in this present moment, forsaking the regrets of yesterday and letting go of tomorrow’s worries. Grant me the grace to approach today with the awe of a first day and the urgency of a last. May my words, thoughts, and attitude be pleasing to you and reflect your humility, love, and purity.

Today God, I give you dominion and Lordship over my life and ask that you lead me and guide me into Your Best plans for me. Guide me to be intentional in my actions, recognizing the divine opportunities you present, while remaining diligent and productive.

Let me embrace the challenges I face today as your training for a greater tomorrow.  May I live this day with passion, aware that I could be called to you at any moment, but also with wisdom by recognizing my purpose on this earth may last for years to come.

Perception

Help me to walk in the humility and awareness of all you have already blessed me with while looking forward to all that you have for me. Give me a heart to live in expectation of your eternal blessings rather than mere temporal gain.

Provision

Provide for all my needs according to your glorious riches and pour out abundant blessing upon me. May all I do be for you, understanding that my provision comes from you and you alone.

Power

Grant me favor, multiply the works of my hands and do great things with the faithful inputs I put forth. Empower me by your indwelling Spirit. Do in me and through me more than I could ask think or imagine. Grant me with wisdom, strength energy and Optimism. Help me to be a good steward of my limited time. Enlarge my territory, expand my influence and extend my boundaries.  

People

Fill me with genuine love for everyone I meet, seeing them as your image-bearers and as someone I’m called to be a blessing to. By your grace, help me to cherish and honor the relationships you have blessed me with.  Let each one be impactful and encouraging. May the way I act and the words I say match my confession of faith so that my life may be a testimony of your kingdom. May my life message reach the ears you have intended to hear it, be received to the ends of the earth and fulfill the purpose you have for it. Help me to walk in Grace and Forgiveness. Granting and giving to all who may have wronged me even as I receive aboundingly from you.

Protection

Today help me to hear and heed your voice so that you can mold me shape me and lead me in your ways.  Lead me not into Temptation, guard my heart from the temptations and snares of the enemy that would rob me of your best for my life and keep me, my family and loved ones from harm.
